My passion for LEGO® initially arose when I was a small toddler. At the time, my favourite themes within the LEGO® universe were especially those from the LEGO® Classic Space and LEGO® Technic series, which I loved to combine in order to create my own space ships, stations and cars. For many years during my childhood, it remained the perfect toy through which to express my individual creativity and fantasy while learning the peace of solitude. 

As I grew older, gaming consoles and home computers entered my playroom and so my passion began to fade. Even though the Atari 2600 didn’t immediately convince me, the Commodore 64 did, followed by Gameboy, Super Nintendo and many others. From this time on, my so-called Lego® Dark Ages began and for many years, I forgot about my big wooden chest in which I had stored all my bricks.

In 2017, almost 30 years later, I received an unexpected present: a small LEGO® Star Wars Battle Pack. From one day to the next, my Dark Ages were over and my long-forgotten passion instantly flared up again. Fortunately, my mother had kept the old wooden chest stored in her basement, so I started by cleaning and sorting my bricks and rebuilding most of my classic sets. At the same time, my collection of mainly Star Wars themed Lego® sets grew and grew.

As an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) I quickly realized that only collecting and building ready-made sets would not satisfy the needs of my inner child – the one that had once created universes made out of bricks. So, I eventually discovered that there’s a huge community of AFOLs worldwide creating their own MOCs (My Own Creations) – guys who take their hobby really seriously.

Now my passion for LEGO® seems to be bigger than ever before and I have not only started designing MOCs, but also FORCE OF BRICKS thus finally came to life. End of 2019, I decided to make FORCE OF BRICKS my own official business and started to bring my designs to the attention of a wider public.
